Gomo Gomo Game Lodge - Luxurious Safari Getaway in Timbavati Private Nature Reserve, Kruger National Park

It is an intimate, child-friendly camp built on the banks of the River in the prestigious Timbavati Private Nature Reserve, one of South Africa's most pristine and unspoiled reserves. Known for its excellent game viewing and diverse habitats, Timbavati is the home of the white lion, and now forms part of the greater Kruger National Park, with a common unfenced border - an area comprising more than 2.2 million hectares of untamed bushveld. 

Central facilities include our massive viewing deck with a 180-degree view of the river shaded by an age-old Leadwood tree.

Breakfast and lunch are served on the deck in an open thatch-roofed lapa overlooking the river, while dinner is served in traditional African style around a log fire in one of two bomas. The cuisine is a combination of African and Western influences with the focus on exceptional quality.

Gomo Gomo Game Lodge caters for two to eighteen guests. Shaded by age-old Jackalberry and Leadwood trees, the camp comprises five fully furnished, thatched chalets and four East African-style luxury tents - all built in traditional style with en-suite facilities. The emphasis is on outstanding comfort and tasteful decoration. Electricity for bedside lamps, fans and power points is supplied throughout.
