after Colonel Stephenson Hamilton, who was instrumental in establishing
the world famous Kruger National Park, Hamilton's Tented Camp reflects
a safari adventure of the early twentieth century, where grace and style
were the epitome luxurious living.
An
authentic tented camp in true 'Out of Africa' tradition, Hamilton's offers
six tents complete with hip baths, flowing mosquito nets and an open tented
lounge and dining area perched on a magnificent deck. Raised walkways amongst
ancient Jackalberry trees add to this African camping experience under
the stars of the Kruger National Park.

What
to Take:
Imbali
is in a malaria area and malaria tablets are recommended all year round
(Please consult your doctor). Comfortable light clothing, walking shoes,
sun hats, sunglasses, sun-block, insect repellent and bathing suits. During
wintertime it is still warm during the day but it can become very cold
on the game drives and at night. It is advisable to bring warm insulated
jackets.

magnificent canvas tents complete with teak floorboards, dreamy mosquito
nets, slipper baths, outdoor showers and a superb view of the seasonal
river are linked to the main lodge area by raised timber walkways amongst
ancient Jackalberry trees. The main lodge is home to an inviting lounge,
scattered with early 1900s objet dart whilst the opulent dining area
adds to the delight of this tranquil spot overlooking the river.
