THE
LODGE
Large
indigenous trees and beautiful tropical gardens make Sefapane Lodge &
Safaris a green oasis amidst the bushveld of the Limpopo province. Birding
is excellent throughout the lodge and specifically at the rustic dam.
Bordering
the pleasant town of Phalaborwa, it is within easy reach of the Kruger
Park, golf course, town and the charming local ‘safari’ airport.
You
might not spend much time at the lodge though, as there is so much to do
and see in the area! However, if you prefer to relax and simply enjoy life,
then our beautiful tropical gardens and outstanding facilities offer the
ideal décor for just that!

Our
stylish a la carte restaurant and African style boma offer excellent cuisine
which is a fusion of African and Western dishes. Enjoy indoor and outdoor
dining with many terraces to choose from. At night everything changes into
a magical African wonderland with lanterns and torches that light the path
to your table, set up under the African moonlit sky.
SWIMMING
POOL
The
large swimming pool with sunken bar is a unique feature of the lodge. Relax
on a pool lounger and read a book under shady palm trees. Our friendly
waiters will make sure you are being looked after the entire day!

One
of Sefapane's greatest assets are the abundant tropical gardens, that surround
you from the moment you enter. Large indigenous trees, such as the mopani
and marula and the mythical baobab invite you for a walk around the lodge
to see, learn and enjoy nature!

AND DELUXE RONDAVELS
Our
African style thatched rondavels are well appointed and set in a rustic
African décor. They offer twin beds with comfortable duvets and
mosquito net, en-suite bathroom, fridge, coffee/tea-making facility, radio,
hairdryer and air-conditioning.
The
deluxe rondavels are more spacious and have a comfortable sitting corner
as an additional extra.

2 BEACH: 12 Day Phalaborwa - Johannesburg Expedition
Sefapane
Lodge & Safaris has designed a fantastic 12-day tour in conjunction
with Africa Unlimited Expeditions & Transfers, combining the highlights
of Limpopo and Kruger Park with the highlights of Mozambique; the bush
and the beautiful coastline with its tropical beaches. The route
is still undiscovered and you will be one of the first to travel this exciting
route, exploring the unique features of Mozambique. The tour is conducted
in small groups of maximum 8 people, guided by an enthusiastic and experienced
guide, while traveling comfortably in our specially designed 4x4 vehicle
with large panorama windows for optimal view.
The
route commences in Phalaborwa, at Sefapane Lodge & Safaris and ends
in Johannesburg. We offer various 3-day pre tours from Johannesburg
to Phalaborwa, which you can book prior to the Bush 2 Beach Expedition.
These pre tours can be on self-drive basis or booked as a guided tour. |
